The poster background does not follow the typical conventions of a horror poster due to the fact that it is not black, this converts the usual conventions and highlights the fact that the purity is being taken over by the blackness of the dark. The fact that the eye is still blue out of the whole of the poster shows that it has
something to do with the eye, as well as being called the blind spot.
The poster adheres to expectations of the sub-genre selecting a strong image to convey meaning and narrative. The use of effects is advanced in blending the eye and the black fog and using the logo in the iris is a nice touch. Institutional blurb is complete, Fonts and colours are consistent successfully uniting the campaign. The layout is well balanced generally but a little busy/cluttered at the bottom.

Widen out the blurb across the bottom to create symmetry with the top.
Work with the spacing between the actors names and the title
Level 3 B+/A-
This is a really good poster, at the bottom its a bit messy but tweaking it and cleaning it up so its tidier, making it in line with the film title at the top. The use of the black/grey fog gives off a nice effect and can draw the audiences attention. The colours used work together really well. Overall this is a good poster like I stated before, it uses the connotations of the subgenre and it has meaning.
